ACH
"ACH" is short for "Automated Clearing House," a system for the electronic transfer of funds between individuals, organizations or businesses (including online casinos), United States government bodies, and banks. The system is run by the National Automated Clearing House Association (www.NACHA.org), an organization based in Herndon, Virginia.
When you select ACH as your option for transferring funds to an online casino, your transaction occurs under the strict controls established by the NACHA, which controls many billions of transactions each year in values that total tens of trillions of United States dollars. These transactions include not only large business-to-business payments but also any direct deposits you as an individual might make of payroll checks to an Internet debit account, or any e-checks you might initiate to fund-or withdraw funds from-a debit account or an online casino.
In all such transactions, your money and your privacy are protected by strict government regulations. NACHA rules also include provisions that give you the right to re-credit your account if an error or an unauthorized transaction might occur.
